God so often uses the impossible as an evidence of His great Power: like with Moses, God may ask you to do the impossible, He may even harden the hearts of those He’s called you to speak to. What we see as impossible, when we have the call, the commission, the command of God, as we go in His Name, He will demonstrate His Power and do the impossible through us. Let me warn you: if Moses had not responded to the call of God, the people would not have been freed; likewise with us, some people's freedom is dependent on our obedience.
Where is God when we are in the midst of tribulation? - He is right there with us, a very present help in our times of trouble. It is easy to feel God's presence when we are on the mountain top, celebrating His goodness; but the Scripture implies that whilst He is present in our good times, He is very present in our distress. Some years ago I was invited to speak at a conference. The theme was how we can know God, how we can come into His presence. I took as my Scripture Deuteronomy 4:29, 'If from where you are you shall seek the Lord Your God you shall find Him'. You will find God when you are in tribulation, when all the problems of life have come on you. God will use the very circumstances you are in to work a miracle in a demonstration of His Power.
My prayer is that God would open our eyes so that we live in the faith of the coming miracle. We need to get before the Lord and ask Him to open our eyes so that we can see - see beyond the constraints of today, the tribulations of tomorrow. I am living beyond every hindrance. I'm seeing the light of the Kingdom and the Glory of God. O God, open our eyes and give us a glimpse of the Glory of the Heavenly Jerusalem, in Jesus Name, Amen.

We need to have a clear vision of God's plan and purposes. Something tangible. The Bible instructs us to write it down and make it plain to read. All my life I've been working towards a goal; something I see in my spirit. As I look back over my life and ministry, I see what God has done, and because of this, I have an absolute confidence that God is going to continue to lead and direct my steps.
Do we recognise the Power and Authority of Jesus? In Matthew 8 we have an incredible contrast in how people viewed Him. The chapter opens with the story of the Roman Centurion who comes to Jesus on behalf of his servant, and then it closes with Jesus calming the storm. The Centurion says to Jesus, “I recognise the authority You have; if You speak the word, my servant will be healed.” Jesus then commends the man by saying, “I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith!” Whereas later, in the midst of a storm, the disciples who had followed Jesus, seen His miracles said, “What kind of Man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey Him!”
What a challenge to us! Do we recognise the Power and Authority of Jesus? Do we trust Him in the midst of our storms? Are we trusting Him now during this pandemic? Are we going to be bold in our faith, like the Centurion was, and declare, “Jesus, You have the authority”? Or will we shrink back in fear like the disciples?

We have a prayer-answering God, but do we really believe Him? Do you want to see revival? All God needs is one man or woman who can pray like Elijah, who can believe like Jesus said. Do you know what the spirit of Elijah is? To me it is the power that a man can have with God. If you knew the power that you can have, you can call down fire from Heaven, see a nation repent in a day, command the rain to come and it will – that’s the power that God has given you.Lessons from 70 years of ministry: 'For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance.' It is only through testings and trials that we learn who God is and what He can do; if we never had a problem, we would never know what faith in God could do. We all pray more when we are in distress; it is how we learn to trust God, to believe for miracles. God will use every difficulty to refine us, so that we become the person He can use for His Glory. The Bible says we are to be truly glad, to rejoice in our trials, because the testing of our faith, which is more precious than gold, may be found to praise, honour, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:6-7). Possess the promises of God! So many believers are living in spiritual lack because they don't understand the promises of God, and the power available to those who believe. Don't just take the 'spiritual' blessings - take the land: possess what you need in the material realm as well. When Israel went in to the Promised Land, it meant war: but if they won, as God said they would, they could have an abundance, all their material needs supplied. What was the 'secret' to the healing ministry of Jesus? His power and authority came from spending time alone with His Father. In those times of stillness, He received fresh anointing. On one such occasion the disciples were searching for Jesus because the crowds were looking for Him. As a result, Jesus dramatically healed a man of leprosy.

God's Power is without limit. The same God who will heal the sick can calm the raging storm; with Him absolutely nothing is impossible. Ephesians talks about the surpassing greatness of His Power which is available to those who believe (1:19). When I had cancer, God healed me miraculously; when I was in a communist prison, God set me free! - It all begins when we believe!
