I can tell you how close Jesus is to you: just breathe in, Jesus is as close as the air that fills your lungs. One prayer and He is always there with you. How can we touch Him? It is not a physical touch. You touch Him when you call His Name, when you talk to Him. Reach out to Him today. One word from Jesus can calm the storm, heal your broken heart. Jesus says to you today, 'Come unto Me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.'

You can't have miracles without problems (with Vinesong)

You can't have a miracle without first having a problem! If the disciples had not been in a sinking boat during a storm at sea, there would have been no miracle with Jesus walking on the water. If you want to see miracles, God is going to use your problem, your difficulty, your crisis in order to work the miracle. That crisis you have - that sickness, that cancer, that arthritis, that financial problem - God will use this to create a miracle.

God needs you involved in your miracle (with Vinesong)

God always answers prayer! But He does not work miracles alone. He needs people involved in them. When He miraculously fed 5,000, He first needed 5,000 hungry people, as well as a boy with five loaves and two fishes. In order that you receive your miracle, God needs you to become part of the answer.

I have learnt after more than 60 years of ministry that God always answers prayer. And I want to encourage you. God never fails - He cannot fail. But to get the answer at the right hour we have to be ready, we have to be obedient, and God will answer - at the last minute.

What is faith? Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things you do not see. Faith is not something intellectual in your mind. You can't learn faith in university. Faith is learnt through the experience of life. It is only through trials and tribulations that you learn the power and effectiveness of faith.

I stand on the authority of the Word of God. I believe the Bible is true! When I was sick with cancer, I didn't go to a healing evangelist, I went to the Word of God, and God completely healed me - no operation, no treatment - I only had God and the Bible, and that is all I needed to confound the doctors. They were shocked, they didn't believe God - but I do, I believe in a God of power, of miracles.

Mountain moving faith (with Vinesong)

The believer who has not yet moved a 'mountain', has not yet begun the real task of the ministry; Jesus rebuked the disciples for their unbelief in Matthew 17 and said, 'If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.' I challenge you to begin to act in the power and authority of your faith. So many times I have had to face the impossible and seen God move in power, and I challenge you to begin to do it yourself!

Mustard Seed Faith (with Vinesong)

In Matthew 17, when Jesus - with Peter, James and John - came down from the Transfiguration, He found the other disciples at the bottom, unable to heal the boy possessed by an evil spirit. Jesus said two things: firstly, that this kind only comes out by prayer and fasting; then secondly, He rebuled His disciples' lack of faith, saying that if they had faith as small as a grain of mustard seed they could command this mountain to move. I challenge you to begin to act in the power and authority of your faith.

God will use those troubles, those tribulations, those difficulties, those everyday problems that you have in your life to speak to you. When I think of the number of troubles I have had - being in a communist prison for a year, having cancer twice - God uses every circumstance to bring glory to His Name; He uses the problems and the difficulties in our lives to show us that He works miracles today!

There is only one solid rock and His Name is Jesus! It is so important at the beginning of this year to resolve that you are going to trust God no matter what may come. None of us know what will happen in 2017, but we can decide ahead of time that our hope is built upon Jesus; He is our answer to every problem; He is our hope and deliverer; Christ is everything. 'On Christ the Solid Rock I stand; all other ground is sinking sand.'

Only believe - It's not too late (with Vinesong)

Only believe! If only we could hear the words of Jesus; in your life, in your problems today, if you will only believe, it is never too late. The wonderful thing about Jesus is that He won't turn anyone away, there is no rejection; whoever you are, if you will come to Jesus, He will not keep you waiting, He won't reject you; Jesus has time for you. People may tell you that your problem is too far gone, that it is too late for a miracle; Jairus was told in Mark 5.35, "Don't trouble Jesus anymore, your daughter is dead", but Jesus will say to you as He said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid, only believe'.

Speak with faith (with Vinesong)

I want to challenge you to come up higher, to a new level of faith! Mark 11 is so revolutionary, so powerful, it has changed my life! Jesus saw a fig tree full of leaves and He went to it hoping to find some figs (v13). But He found nothing but leaves. So what did Jesus do with the fig tree? He cursed it. The following day, Peter saw the dead tree; Jesus said to him, "Have faith in God! If you don't doubt in your heart but believe that what you say will happen, you shall have whatever you say!" Let me challenge you: if you speak in faith and authority according to the will of God, and don't doubt, you will be healed, your family will be blessed, your financial burden will move, even if those things are mountains in your life!

If I could give you a gift, I would give you this verse from Jeremiah 33:3, 'Call, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things you know not.' I want you to learn to call on God - and He will answer you! Not only will He answer, but the reason I love this verse, and the reason I pray over this verse, is because God says, when He answers, He will show you great and mighty things you don't know; He will open up heaven and show you His glory. "O God, I call unto You, You have promised that You will answer me, and when You answer me, You are going to show me powerful things, something bigger than I can ever dream about."
