I know Jesus is alive, I talked with Him this morning. The reality of our relationship with Christ is in knowing Him. I talk to Him, He talks to me. Receiving my healing from throat cancer many years ago led me into a more positive experience in my Christian life: the realisation that if God says it in His Word then He will always do it!

The Glory of Jesus (with Vinesong)

'And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.' What a miracle, under the rules of the Temple, Jews had to continually make sacrifices to atone for their sins, but the Bible says Jesus died once to forgive the sins of the world and set us free! God sent His Son Jesus to redeem you and I; and God glorified Jesus by doing this.

I want to declare the glory of Jesus. Put your faith in Him. He has Power to heal, deliver and set you free. As you turn to Jesus, He'll fill you with unspeakable joy. When Peter healed the lame man outside the temple in Acts 3, the man was so full of joy, he began leaping and praising God: God can do the same for you.

What joy, what rejoicing, awaits those who receive the victory of the Lord. Peter and John were on their way into the Temple to pray, when a lame man called out for help. Peter, unable to give money, gave something of greater value, he reached out his hand, pulled the lame man up, and as he did so, the man arose, completely healed!

There are many times in our lives when we need to cry out, "help!" And when you do, Jesus is there listening to your cry. The Bible says Jesus hears every cry from your heart; when you are in pain, when you are in difficulty, if you will cry out, "Jesus help me", He will answer you. Even if its a silent cry from your heart, God hears you, He will answer.

I know this, God always answers prayer. I believe it is so significant that when Jesus is walking towards the disciples in that storm-tossed ship, He chose the darkest, the most dangerous point of the night. Jesus is walking towards you; you might not be able to see Him because of all the problems surrounding you, but He is there. Call upon His Name. He'll answer and deliver you.

There are many things we are unable to change; whatever we do or try, some circumstances can't be changed by human power alone. But suddenly, when Jesus speaks, everything changes for the better. Despite all the miracles they had witnessed, something happened that one day which completely astonished them. I was sentenced to years in prison for Bible smuggling; when I had no food, I learnt how to pray; when I had no friends, I learnt how to pray; when I had no Bible, I learnt how to pray. I learnt how to talk to God in that prison. He was nearer to me in that prison than at any time before. Jesus was so near. He is friend! I know Him. I love Him! Hallelujah!

Jesus has a purpose in everything. I can tell you with absolute confidence, God is in control of my life! He is the boss. He is in control. He loves me. I do what He says. That is the simplicity of the Christian life. God is in control; my times are in His hands; I trust Him with my life.

Life after death (Easter 2018)

I believe in life after death. The Scripture teaches that death is not the end, it is only a beginning, it is the path to life eternal. There is a resurrection of the dead! The Apostle Paul taught, 'If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead!'
