My God answers prayer! He is a God of Fire and Power! How do you set fire to wet wood? - You can't, but God can! When Elijah called upon the Name of the Lord, Fire fell from heaven and consumed the sacrifice. O God send the Fire of the Holy Spirit, we are waiting and expecting You to answer, now!

Blessed are those who believe; though you do not see Him, you trust Jesus, and rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. Even though you can't see Jesus, even though you can't touch Him, you can talk to Him through prayer. Jesus is as close to you as the words on your lips.

The Father God was in Jesus, and Jesus in Him. From the beginning, Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God. All things were made through and by Him for His Glory. When God wanted to show His love for you, He sent His Son into the world. How did Jesus work miracles of healing? It was because He is God. How will God work miracles in your life? - Through His Spirit living and working through you.

What is in your heart? God doesn't look at outward appearances, He looks upon our heart. He sees our desires and secret yearnings. For with our heart we believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus taught it this way, from the overflow of the heart a man speaks. Just as sin originates in our heart, so salvation starts within.

Sometimes we hear about terrible events: accidents, sickness, financial trouble; why do these things happen? Why do we have sin? Why do we have accidents? Because man rebelled against God. But God so loved you, He sent His Son into the world to break the power of the devil and set us free. We can't always explain or understand the ways of God, but as with the man healed in John 9:25, "One thing I know: though I was blind, now I can see."

Do you believe God can work a miracle in your life? All you have to do is say 'Yes' to His Will. But there is a big difference between knowing in your head and knowing in your heart. You cannot trust somebody you do not know. I want you to know in whom you have believed - and then God can work the miracle. Our God answers prayer - and He works miracles. I have seen every kind of miracle you can imagine: people born blind, God opens their eyes; broken back are mended; cancers are healed; cripples get out of wheelchairs. - I've seen miracles that are not healing: financial provision; my own miraculous release from prison, and many others besides. I know these miracles will happen when I pray; I don't have any question about it. It is no different from knowing that every morning the sun will get out of bed and show itself at my window. God works miracles every day - but it is for us to believe that He can, and will, in our lives. - It is according to our faith.

Rejoice, Jesus is calling for you. If I could offer one encouragement, I would tell you to rejoice, to be of good cheer. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. What does that mean? Jesus is calling you; He wants to lift you up and carry you home. He has heard your prayer and is asking, "What do you want Me to do for you?"

I want you to know who Jesus really is, to experience His love and power. The amazing thing about blind Bartimaeus is that despite his blindness, he could 'see' Jesus - he recognised Him as the Son of God with power. My prayer is that God would open your eyes so that you would have eyes to see and ears to hear: to know in whom you have believed.

I was so excited when I read in Leviticus 6.13 that when the priests lit the Fire they were told it must never go out! I received the Fire of God when I was 13 and it has never gone out! How do you keep this Fire burning? Through sacrifice. If you want the Fire burning in you then you need to add more sacrifice.

What joy, what rejoicing, awaits those who receive the victory of the Lord. Peter and John were on their way into the Temple to pray, when a lame man called out for help. Peter, unable to give money, gave something of greater value, he reached out his hand, pulled the lame man up, and as he did so, the man arose, completely healed!

God hears every prayer; He knows what troubles you; God is concerned about you. Jesus said the hairs on your head are numbered, so don't be afraid. God is not deaf, you don't need to shout to be heard. You can speak in the softest whisper and He will hear you. You don't need to be in a big temple or church to be noticed, God will hear you wherever you are.
