Our life is in Christ, He is our source and provider: we live by the Words which proceed out of the mouth of God. Jesus said you must be born again; and just as with all new life, we must be fed; and our food is the Bread of life, the very Word of God. Build your life on the Bread of Life. Consume it as a vital necessity. "He humbled you, and in your hunger He gave you manna to eat, which neither you nor your fathers had known, so that you might understand that man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord." (Deuteronomy 8:3.)

In Luke 8:45, a woman in great distress because of an incurable sickness came to Jesus. Jesus KNEW she had reached out to Him, because He felt virtue pass to her. Like her, you are not able to physically touch Jesus, but you can reach out to Him through prayer and worship. Whatever your problem: whether it is sickness, financial or other distress, come to Jesus. And like with that woman, He will turn around and say, "Child of Mine, go in peace, your faith has healed you."

This is a day of celebration, because we remember passing through death into life. We mustn’t live in pain and fear because of the lockdown but live with joy and excitement for the freedom which awaits. The Scripture teaches that Jesus for the joy which was before Him endured the cross. Come on, be full of joy this Easter for great joy awaits you! I know for myself, when this lockdown is lifted, it will be like a resurrection experience. I am bursting with energy and enthusiasm to preach the Gospel and see souls saved into the Kingdom!

Before I pray for you and the nation, I want to share three significant events which happened when Jesus died. Be blessed and be encouraged this Easter. ‘In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.. and [may] the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints’ (Ephesians 1.7,18).

We have a prayer-answering God, but do we really believe Him? Do you want to see revival? All God needs is one man or woman who can pray like Elijah, who can believe like Jesus said. Do you know what the spirit of Elijah is? To me it is the power that a man can have with God. You can’t have miracles without first having problems: twice God has healed me of cancer; He’s released me from a communist prison. Suppose I never had these problems, that God spared me the pain, I would not have the ministry I have today. God doesn’t send the sickness, but He will use it to test and refine us; ultimately all things DO work together for good. I believe in prayer and in a God of miracles. But in 2002 I was faced with a challenge: do I really believe God or not? Diagnosed with lung cancer, my only hope was Jesus. I didn't go to a healing evangelist, I went to the Word of God and He completely healed me - no operation, no treatment - I only had God and the Bible, and that's all I needed to confound the doctors. They were shocked, they didn't believe God. But I do! I believe in a God of power and of miracles. Healing, deliverance, forgiveness are yours to receive in the Name of Jesus... stop struggling and come into His arms! Talk to Jesus. He's listening. Ask Him to forgive your sin and to heal you. God desires for you to live in health: to live a full satisfying life. Sickness is from the devil. Jesus said, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). I want you to receive those words deep in your spirit: to be settled on the truth of God's Word. And until the day when your healing has fully manifested, know that His grace is sufficient, that He is all you need: His strength is made perfect in weakness. It is only through testings and trials that we learn who God is and what He can do; if we never had a problem, we would never know what faith in God could do. We all pray more when we are in distress; it is how we learn to trust God, to believe for miracles. God will use every difficulty to refine us, so that we become the person He can use for His Glory. The Bible says we are to be truly glad, to rejoice in our trials, because the testing of our faith, which is more precious than gold, may be found to praise, honour, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:6-7). Possess the promises of God! So many believers are living in spiritual lack because they don't understand the promises of God, and the power available to those who believe. Don't just take the 'spiritual' blessings - take the land: possess what you need in the material realm as well. When Israel went in to the Promised Land, it meant war: but if they won, as God said they would, they could have an abundance, all their material needs supplied. What was the 'secret' to the healing ministry of Jesus? His power and authority came from spending time alone with His Father. In those times of stillness, He received fresh anointing. On one such occasion the disciples were searching for Jesus because the crowds were looking for Him. As a result, Jesus dramatically healed a man of leprosy.

God's Power is without limit. The same God who will heal the sick can calm the raging storm; with Him absolutely nothing is impossible. Ephesians talks about the surpassing greatness of His Power which is available to those who believe (1:19). When I had cancer, God healed me miraculously; when I was in a communist prison, God set me free! - It all begins when we believe!
