"Jesus, help me!" - God hears the cries of the desperate and anguished. So many people are in the same position as Jairus, "Jesus, it's too late; my daughter has died," But it is never too late with Jesus. No situation is too far gone; no person too lost, that the power of God cannot reach and save.

We have a powerful God; a God who does the impossible. In Mark 5, Jairus fell at the feet of Jesus, pleading for Him to heal his daughter. Jairus came looking for a healing, but Jesus had in mind something greater: He was going to do the impossible.

God loves you! He's a God of forgiveness. He doesn't just have the power to change your life for the better, but He has the desire to help you. When Jesus was asked by the leper, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean", Jesus responded, "I am willing, be clean."

"Lord, don't You care about us?" The disciples were just like us: facing a life-threatening storm, they did the right thing, they went straight to Jesus, but the problem was, Jesus was asleep! Yet God does care! He knows your circumstances. He's acquainted with all your ways. God is concerned enough to change it. You are fully known and loved by God.

We need to give thanks to God for all His blessings. When you meditate on all that the Lord has done, you will be filled with gratitude and joy. Just as the woman poured out her jar of perfume over Jesus, so we too must pour out our praise on Him like oil. It's so easy to lose sight of the blessings in our lives until we become consumed by our problems. Let the light of joy fill your heart as you meditate on every blessing.

The same Power which raised Christ from the dead lives on the inside of you! The Power of God doesn't dwell in temples, churches or other 'holy' sites; the Power of God dwells with us; all the Power of God is literally within you!

The unknown God, the God we don't know, He is the living God: as the Apostle Paul taught, in Him we live and move and have our being. Even though we don't know Him, we ourselves are fully known by Him. We are His children; His breath fills our lungs; we are made in His image.

Everything we have: our joy, peace, and health; every blessing is ours through Christ. Without Him we have nothing. But through Jesus, every good and perfect gift becomes ours. For many, Jesus is unknown. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation; the Good News of the Kingdom; to share with an unbelieving world.

Jesus loves you, He's going to heal and restore you. Jesus sees in you the miracle which is going to happen. He sees you not as you were yesterday, but as you will be tomorrow. God has a future planned for you.

God will use those troubles, those tribulations, those difficulties, those everyday problems that you have in your life to speak to you. When I think of the number of troubles I have had - being in a communist prison for a year, having cancer twice - God uses every circumstance to bring glory to His Name; He uses the problems and the difficulties in our lives to show us that He works miracles today!

From the moment you were born, God has been waiting, looking for you. He simply says, “Child of mine, come home.” The Bible teaches: ‘Long ago, even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. All of us once were sinners whom God loved, chose, fashioned and created. God is always seeing the future, what we can become through Him. He wants us to become the evidence of the power and glory of God here on earth.

Diagnosed with throat cancer in 1964, I faced a crisis in my life. I found myself constantly praying the same thing: "O God, I know You can heal, because of all the evidence in Your Word, as well as the other miracles which I have seen with my own eyes. But ... the problem is ... You can ... if You want to ... Is it Your will to heal me? All I am asking for is a positive yes or no." I picked up my Bible and read from Romans 8 verse 26, "We know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us ... according to the will of God." That was it! It came with certainty to me that God had said yes. I would be healed by a miracle.

God sees the potential, what you can become when He touches you. If only you realised what God sees in you; if only you could see yourself as He sees you; what a difference it would make to your life if you realised your potential with Christ.

Forgive and you will be forgiven; set men free from their trespasses and your heavenly Father will also set you free. We must forgive, as we hope to be forgiven. Those who desire to find mercy with God, must show mercy to their brethren. Christ came into the world as the great Peace-maker, not only to reconcile us to God, but one to another.

The miracle of God's love is forgiveness. The Scripture teaches, as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 'Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are your accusers? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, Lord," she answered. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Now go and sin no more."' (John 8:10-11)
